About Frieder Megerle

  • Freelance Business Consultant with extensive experience in Engineering & Manufacturing, Lean Production, Turnaround Management, M&A, Internationalization and Management of Multinational Teams.
  • 1982 - 2000: Engineering Project Manager & Director at Robert Bosch GmbH.
  • Subsequently, four years in the role of Senior Vice President as well as member of the BoM and Regional President for Bosch in Japan.
  • 2004 - 2009: Senior Vice President and Technical Plant Manager at Bosch in Blaichach.
  • 2009 - 2018: Executive Vice President Manufacturing & Engineering at Bosch and management as divisional board member of the regions Japan, India and SEA.
  • 2018 German Innovation Award from the business magazine "WirtschaftsWoche" for the product iDisc, an innovative brake disc developed under his responsibility.
  • In addition to his professional activities, he was and is a member of several supervisory boards and advisory councils.
  • Seit 2019 member of 3DSE Advisory Board, where he supports the consulting company with his outstanding national and international R&D and industry expertise.
