Environment
The topic of the environment and climate protection is of particular importance to us. We work to minimize the environmental impact associated with our work as an international consultancy. Sustainability means breaking new ground and actively supporting climate protection.
Plant-for-the-Planet – pro bono project for a green future
A climate protection project that started in Germany that we found particularly inspiring is the youth initiative Plant-for-the-Planet. The idea behind it is as simple as it is effective: plant trees to offset CO2. Plant-for-the-Planet is convinced that the "1.5° target" can only be achieved with the help of massive reforestation.
In 2007, Felix Finkbeiner, then 9 years old, founded this initiative together with enthusiasts from over 100 countries. It was the start of a global movement in which children around the world could get involved for their future. For his commitment, the Junior Chamber International network selected Felix Finkbeiner as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young People of the World 2016."
Felix has also deeply impressed us with his inspiring mission. This is why we have supported Plant-for-the-Planet since the beginning of 2016 on a pro bono basis for the achievement of the set goals. In doing this, we do what we do best: consult. Our contribution involves the areas of strategy formation, process design, and on finding innovative approaches to achieving goals..
In 2018, Trillion Tree Campaign was launched at the "Plant Ahead" gala in Monaco. The goal is to plant 1,000 billion trees to save the planet. We were live in Monaco and committed to planting at least 5,000 trees together with our community. This goal will soon be reached.

After winning awards in recent years, we are particularly proud of the award in the category "Sustainability" in 2021. With our expertise in strategy development and process design, we have been able to achieve great success in their steady development together with Plant-for-the-Planet since 2016.

EcoVadis
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world's largest and most trusted provider of corporate sustainability assessments, building an international network of more than 100,000 assessed companies.
Responsibility towards people and nature
EcoVadis uses innovative technologies and sustainability expertise to help companies develop and implement sustainable business practices and provides leading sustainability monitoring solutions for global supply chains. So far, 75,000 companies have already been evaluated by the sustainability rating. At 3DSE, we are aware of our responsibility towards the environment, and have also undergone this ranking. In the process, EcoVadis evaluated us on the basis of 21 sustainability criteria in the four subject areas of environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. We were awarded the second time with "the silver medal in 2022" for our good sustainable commitment.
Beach Volleyball
Like our core disciplines in R&D, beach volleyball requires a high level of technical and tactical understanding as well as a well-coordinated high-performance team to be successful. Since 2010, we have therefore been particularly committed to supporting young Bavarian beach volleyball talents. Among the beach volleyball players supported were Bavarian record champions such as Buchner/Richter or the Bavarian champions Doranth/Hauser and Eierle/Pfletschinger. But also Clemens Wickler, who became German champion in 2015 and is now among the world's best. With the teams Doranth/Beck, Höfer/Noack, Pfretzschner/Sowa, and Pfretzschner/John, the teams we sponsor play in the upper echelons of Germany.
At the annual summer party, our employees and some of the beach volleyball players we sponsor come together to play for the 3DSE challenge cup. For this event alone, it is worth supporting this exciting and clean sport.
Manage and More
Since 2018, we have therefore been a cooperation partner of Manage and More, the Entrepreneurship Stipendium von UnternehmerTUM. For three semesters, Manage and More students can develop new products, design business models, or found their own start-up. The scholarship holders are individually supported and can attend numerous competence trainings. Our consultants act as mentors and pass on their knowledge to the participants in so-called value stream workshops, among other things.
The students can use the newly acquired knowledge to optimize their own ideas. The goal of Manage and More is to develop the skills, network, and experience of the students so that they can become successful entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs themselves. They gain experience regarding the use of innovation techniques to identify problems and be able to solve them in an entrepreneurial way.
Enactus Munich e.V.
Enactus is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire students to make a lasting difference in the world through entrepreneurial action.
IMore than 75,000 students are already involved in more than 37 countries. The network in Germany now consists of 36 different universities. Enactus stands for the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial), the will to create (action), as well as the commonality in action and values (us). Since the end of 2020, 3DSE is a cooperation partner of Enactus Munich and supports the association in the context of its own strategy development, advisory hours and method transfer (SCRUM, project management). In addition, we are the contact for internal departmental topics such as organization, HR, and marketing.
