Privacy Policy

Collecting and processing personal data

Personal data (e.g., name, email address) is only collected on this website if you provide this information to us in the contact form/newsletter. The data will be saved in our customer database and will only be used to send you information on the indicated topics.

When you register for our newsletter you will receive regular information about activities related to R&D. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure, i.e., we only send you newsletters after you have confirmed that you want us to activate the newsletter service by clicking on our notification email. The email address will not be given to third parties; it will only be used to send our own newsletters. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the end of each newsletter.

You can submit applications to our company electronically. We will, of course, only use your details to process your application and will not disclose them to third parties. Please note that emails that are sent unencrypted are not transmitted with access protection.

Cookies

When you visit our website, information is saved on your browser in the form of cookies (small text files). Cookies save information about your use of the website (identification information, data about your visit, etc.). Cookies makes it easier for you to use our online offering thanks to various service functions (e.g., recognition of previous visits) and better tailor the website to your needs. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer and delete any that have already been saved by adjusting your browser’s settings. The help function on most browsers explains how to adjust these settings. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all of the website’s features. We therefore recommend that you leave the cookie function enabled.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a website service of Google Inc. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there. The Google tracking codes on this website use the “_anonymizeIp()” function and therefore only process abbreviated IP addresses in order to prevent them from being linked directly to specific individuals. Google abbreviates IP addresses in European Union member states and in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Full IP addresses are transmitted to a Google server in the US and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. Google adheres to the provisions of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and is registered with the Commerce Department’s Privacy Shield program. The information is used to analyze the use of our website, to compile reports about website activities and for other services connected with the use of websites and the Internet. Your data will absolutely not be merged with other data collected by Google. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings on your browser. Note, however, that if you do this you will not be able to fully use all of the functions on our website. You can also prevent Google’s collection of the data generated by the cookie about your use of the website (incl. your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by opting out using the following Google opt-out link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de)
