EcoVadis
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world's largest and most trusted provider of corporate sustainability assessments, building an international network of more than 100,000 assessed companies. EcoVadis evaluated the company based of 21 sustainability criteria in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement and for the second time, the silver medal was awarded in 2022.
Responsibility towards people and nature
EcoVadis uses innovative technologies and sustainability expertise to help companies develop and implement sustainable business practices and provides leading sustainability monitoring solutions for global supply chains. So far, 75,000 companies have already been evaluated by the sustainability rating. 3DSE is aware of its responsibility towards the environment, and have also undergone this ranking.
Enactus Munich e.V.
Enactus, an international non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire students through entrepreneurial action with more than 75,000 students across 37 countries. The network in Germany now consists of 36 different universities. Enactus stands for the entrepreneurial spirit (entrepreneurial), the will to create (action), as well as the commonality in action and values (us). Since the end of 2020, 3DSE is a cooperation partner of Enactus Munich and supports the association in the context of its own strategy development, advisory hours and method transfer (SCRUM, project management).
Plant-for-the-Planet
A climate protection project that started in Germany that 3DSE found aligned well with corporate sustainability interests. The idea behind the program is as simple as it is effective: plant trees to offset CO2. Plant-for-the-Planet is convinced that the “1.5° target CO2 reduction" can only be achieved with the help of massive reforestation.
In 2007, Felix Finkbeiner, then 9 years old, founded this initiative together with enthusiasts from over 100 countries. It was the start of a global movement in which children around the world could get involved for their future.
3DSE’s work in strategy development and process design has been able to help Plant-for-the-Planet successfully grow their results in planting trees. As a result of this work, 3DSE was awarded the WirtschaftsWoche Best of Consulting 2021 – Sustainability category for project work with Plant-for-the-Planet.

In addition to the proven success of repeat client engagements, 3DSE is also the holder of industry awards from Handelsblatt Fair Company, 2022 and Ecovadis 2022 Silver Sustainability rating.
Participation in industry organizations is an important part of staying in sync with industry wide innovations and to develop a wider network of external partners. Two members of the 3DSE leadership team are founding members of INCOSE - International Council on Systems Engineering - FuSE (Future of Systems Engineering) program. The stated mission of FuSE is to identify critical gaps towards the vision realization, initiate and support relevant actions to foster involvement and collaboration within and outside of INCOSE.
3DSE is a corporate member of IPMA – International Project Management Association and with membership in the German-American Chamber of Commerce, cross-border expertise is aligned for success in the US market.
